Tedious work tonight, as I tightened faces, hands, and began to paint in the background more fully. All of the painting was done with a #2 round watercolor brush, often with the slightest bit of paint hanging on just one bristle, giving me a line finer than what you'd get with a ballpoint pen. There's also a bit of colored pencil here too, and I see that the camera's flash has caught the gloss of a bit of it.
