After receiving a few critiques about this painting by friends on WetCanvas, I've tweaked the figure of the standing professor a bit. They thought that she looked a bit off-balance. This was true, but in my reference photo of her she was holding her right arm out rather awkwardly. It just looked odd, so I tucked her arm behind her in an effort to give the figure a little more grace. That apparently didn't help things. So, I've made her right arm visible in an effort to balance out the figure, but still without making her look strange.
Other than that, I've begun filling in the gazebo some more, as well as working on the stone texture of the floor.
All of this is far from perfect, but I keep on trying.
